What counts in each plan
- Free, 200 GB and 2 TB
- Everything you keep in OZ Photos: photos and videos, instant or in cold storage, plus the trash and older versions until they are deleted after 90 days.
- Unlimited: unlimited photos
- Photos (JPEG, HEIC, PNG and RAW) don’t count. Videos and any other files count, against 2 TB. A Live Photo’s video goes with its photo.
- Extra video (Unlimited)
- If you go over 2 TB of video, add whole TB at US$6 per TB per month. Videos older than 30 days live in cold storage: they play instantly from their light version and the original comes back when you ask for it.
- When you reach the limit
- Backup stops with a clear notice and nothing is deleted. Choose a bigger plan (or free up space) and it picks up where it stopped.
Fair use of Unlimited
Unlimited is for one person’s library: a heavily used iPhone holds between 50 and 300 GB of photos. If your photos go over 1 TB (more than 300,000 photos), we’ll contact you to find the plan that suits you. Backup never stops because of this and nothing is ever deleted.
Questions
- Do I already have OZ Storage?
- It’s the same account. Add OZ Photos on the web, in “Plan y pagos”, and your photos get their own space with their own plan.
- How do I pay and cancel?
- On the web (app.ozstorage.app, “Plan y pagos”), with a card or PayPal. Change plans or cancel there anytime; if you cancel, the plan runs until the end of what you paid; then your photos stay read-only for 60 days so you can download them (or pick a plan again), and after that they go to the trash, where they are deleted after 90 days.
- Taxes?
- Prices are in US dollars, excluding taxes; checkout adds your country’s taxes where they apply.
